A luxurious Club Lounge indoors, a traditional Chinese restaurant on the second floor, an alfresco courtyard bar and a riverfront dining area; all of these were what our Faves Asia personalities got to enjoy when VLV hosted us at their newly opened restaurant last month. Together with our Co- Founders, our ladies were given the warmest of hospitality from the staff over at VLV.


Housed in a historic building that was built in the 1880s, at the heart of Clarke Quay, is now where VLV calls home at this 20,000 square feet venue. Our Faves personalities were simply wowed by its traditional, yet chic, architecture. VLV pride themselves for having over 60 different types of Chinese delicacies that hold a strong Cantonese flavour, but with a modern twist. These delicious and creatively plated dishes come from their Executive Chef, Martin Foo, and his dedicated kitchen team. Lucky for us, we got to enjoy free-flow of all finger food items on their menu, and we were simply hooked! One of the top picks from our personalities was definitely the Golden Dragon Skin, which the VLV staff very playful termed as “snake skin”. Trust us, don't be put off by that “endearing term”, because we definitely had no regrets giving this seemingly exotic dish a try that night.


So the question is, would our Faves personalities frequent VLV again? Of course our answer would be a definite yes! Regardless of whether you’re looking to dance the night away, to have a fancy dinner with top quality Chinese dishes, or to just head somewhere nice and chill to catch up with your friends over a couple of drinks, VLV has got you covered.
